“Ancient Origins – Modern Applications”: The history and health benefits of Tai
Have you ever been curious about the mystical art of Tai Chi? Join Kenn and Vicki Chase for an enlightening lecture and demonstration on October 8. Kenn, with a degree in philosophy, embarked on a journey that led him to master and teach the ancient art of moving meditation Tai Chi Ch’uan. His adventure began in 1969 in San Francisco under the tutelage of Master Choy Kam Man, the first Chinese Master to teach in the United States.
With over 50 years of teaching experience in diverse settings such as communities, hospitals, corporations, and the renowned Esalen Institute, Kenn has become a beacon of knowledge in the Tai Chi world. Vicki, a registered nurse, joined him over 40 years ago and played a pivotal role in integrating Tai Chi into cardiac rehabilitation.
